Another Lovely Gift

I was lucky to receive another belated birthday gift from my friend Cindy.

Isn't it sweet, with the little bell hanging from the reindeer's collar.  Thank you my friend.
Cindy and I are also going to be doing a private Christmas ornie exchange with each other in November, so I will be lucky to have two ornies from her this year.

Until next time, happy stitching

June CTTY Linky

I have recently completed a little fabric stocking ornie.

I am linking up with Anthea for the June CTTY.

I have also recently bought some stash from Barbara who was having a clear out of some unwanted charts.  I'm getting in the mood for some Christmas stitching.

Until next time, happy stitching

Gorgeous Gifts From Friends - Part 2

Here is another wonderful gift I received for my birthday from my dear friend June.  It was also June's birthday the other day, Happy Birthday dear friend.

The smell as I opened up the parcel was divine.  Thank you June.

I also managed another finish on the weekend.  I stitched this freebie design by Brightneedle, just chose to stitch the lady only, and finished it off as a tin topper.  It's quite an appropriate design for me as I was born in the UK and lived there till I was 9 and then my family emigrated to Australia.  So I am still proud of my English heritage.

More soon.
Until next time, happy stitching

Gorgeous Gifts from Friends - Part 1

I have received some wonderful presents from my dear stitching friends for my birthday this week.
From my wonderful blogging friend Anthea, she made me one of her wonderful pouches and gave it to me at the Craft & Quilt Fair the other Saturday.  I was so excited opening my parcel.
The fabric is a lovely vintage style and I just love it.  She also included a Kelmscott needle minder (my first ever!) and a cute little tin.

Thank you Anthea, I shall treasure it always.

And from my wonderful blogging friend Angela I received 3 finished cross stitch pieces.  I know all the work that goes into these pieces, so for Angela to send this to me is amazing.  Thank you dear friend, I love them all and I will think about the special ways in which I can complete them into finishes.

I will return soon with some more gifts to share.
Until next time, happy stitching
