A Belated Gift & Some RAK's

Hi dear friends,
I just received a lovely parcel from my dear friend Angela.  It was a combination parcel of a belated birthday gift and some lovely RAK's.

Angela had taken up knitting recently, when she lost her stitching mojo.  She knitted me two lovely dishcloths as my birthday gift.

I also received these lovely completed cross stitch.  Angela asked me if I would like them to be able to finish into something and I leapt at the chance.  The Lizzie Kate Snow Belles still has to be completed, but I have the charts and I will finish it as my own little WIP soon.
I'm not sure yet what I will be finishing them into, but I'm excited to start thinking about how I can incorporate them into my new found love of patchwork and quilting.  Maybe some wallhangings, pillow finishes or table runners.  How exciting!!!

Thank you Angela, they will be treasured.
Until next time, happy stitching/quilting

Arrival of the Travelling Treasures

I was the lucky person drawn for the Travelling Treasures this month.
Travelling Treasures originated here at Deb's blog.  It basically travels around Australia/New Zealand to quilters and stitchers and they get to choose what they would like from the parcel.  They then place new items into the parcel (the same amount as taken out) and then it gets sent off to somebody new.

Here is what arrived in the Travelling Treasures to me.

I will be sending it on its way to a new destination within the next couple of weeks.  Come visit me again soon as I will be putting up a post for you to sign up if you would like to be the next recipient.
I will also show what I have taken from the treasures and what I have added.
Until next time, happy stitching/quilting
Lisa
