Feeling Green?

Hi Everyone,
thought I would show you the progress I have made on my Lizzie Kate Green Flip-Its.

Two down!!

Its quite an enjoyable stitch as the colours are soo cheery and I love the fabric. I actually chose the same fabric as listed on the patterns to use.

I am also really annoyed as I sent out an exchange parcel about 6 weeks ago to Hungary and it hasn't arrived.  I am soo gutted as I put soo much into the piece I stitched and I was soo hesitant to send it as I really loved it.  I am completely gutted!  I dont like the idea that its floating around out there for anyone to have, its soo annoying.  I'm still hoping (fingers crossed) that it might just be dawdling along and eventually get there, or at least come home to me, but to be honest I dont think there's much of a chance.  Has anybody else had this happen where its amazingly turned up after soo long?

Until next time, happy stitching

Love your stitches! You are so right - they are cheery!!

I do hope that your package arrives. Hopefully the mail is just really slow and it's on it's way!

I did have a parcel go missing for about 5 weeks once, but that was during Christmas time. I hope it turns up. Congratulations on almost 100 followers!!!

Lisa: I sent a package off to Russia with the thought that it woukd arrive in 1-2 weeks, well 2 months later I recieved a reply,
I had to issue a refund to this person I lost money on Ebay, so please wait a little longer customs in some other countries is sooo slow.
By the way the Flipits are adorable.

A friend of mine recently finished this piece and she loved it as well. Yours is coming along beautifully!

They are lovely Lisa - well done. I had a round robin go missing once in 2003 and it arrived back home without a single stitch being put in it in 2008! So theres hope!
Love Michelle x

I love the motifs and the colours of your stitched pieces. I can easily see why it's an enjoyable stitch.
Sorry to hear about the disappeared package. I've had that once that an envelope appeared after about seven weeks. But another envelope sent at the same time from the same country has never showed up. Quite obviously it was stolen by someone. I hope that your package will still arrive at its recipient.

What a great piece with an equally great message! I do hope your exchange piece turns up, Lisa. Only another stitcher can know the hours of love and work that go in to a piece...

Cute stitching!

I once had an exchange that took 2 months to arrive. I was really worried and thought I'd have to do another one and contacted the moderator, but she told me that the mail to this particular person was typically veeery slow. There's still a chance!

Lisa, the mail service always takes too long! They say in 6-10 days and our packages take 5 or 6 weeks! I'm used to that! I send (and receive) packages to friends all around the globe and it always takes to much time but it gets there ;)
I hope your package will arrive soon and safe :)

I love that LK design! I hope to stitch it soon!! :D
Your stitching is looking really pretty :)

Your stitching is wonderful, Lisa. You're right, they are so bright and cheerful.

I sent a package to Malaysia close to 2 months ago now and still nothing. I sent a chart and a handmade couple of items. I feel sick about that, too. I can't imagine why in the world it should take so long. I"m about to give up and re-send something but what if this one goes missing, too? Oh brother.

Love your LK piece! So sorry that your package doesn't arrived yet.
I know how it feels. After months I still don't know where my BBD heart is. So I keep my fingers crossed for you.
